Everybody in lower leagues are dissapointed, when meeting a T500 player ranking up a new account. What about:

  • the player by creating new account can choose rank for where he belongs?
  • With this implemented, we are able to report a smurf even more, because he set it much lower intentionally

So if an egotistical player chooses his rank to be grandmaster and ruined 10 matches with actual GMs, can we also report them for throwing?

Yes so simple it is, and I mean only for once a first time you can choose.
Simple it is.

  • You made an account
  • Choose your rank
  • Play a game - if you underperform by a lot - system does rank correction vice versa

The idea is absolutely terrible, but ohmahgad how hilarious it would be, so i’m joining you OP. This is the future, we must make it happen.

Do it!!! :joy: when everyone is top 500 no one will be. Ideally there will be no decay and I can rake in the comp points. :joy:

You guys understand that this is NOW happening right? When you create a new account, first matches you are just simple put into a match, where your role had a empty place, and no one was asking you? :sweat_smile: sometimes I forgot how low IQ people r here

They don’t ask you, just like every other game they don’t give you the option to just say you are a masters player and ruin potential games, that is why they throw you into a gold or play game as a baseline and changes elo accordingly

So you are suggesting to let ppl smurf for free but then ban then for doing that? What?

Yes I suggest to freely smurf one time when you choose incorrect your rank, so the system has something to work with.
