i have to work so hard as ana to keep my team up, just to end up with silver heals. every other healer gets more done with less effort. i just feel like playing ana is a waste, even if youre a god with her. its just like why should i pick Ana, when every other healer does her job and i dont have to break my balls to pop off. eventually she’ll need a buff. she cant compete, not easily at least. my 2 cents.
Healing should be easier, the unscopped projectile should have a larger hitbox for allies and pierce if hits a ally if it overheals.w
Now other healers don’t do her job her anti / sleep can outright win team fights, other healers don’t have those tools, she has her place and a very small buff is ofc needed to put her up there.
I think the ammo either needs to hold more, reload faster, or both
Yeah, I hate when people spam “need healing” in front of me but I’m reloading sorry… XD
I would at least like to see her not leave dart tracers when scoped… that way 1 scoped shot doesn’t get me killed.
ahh but wait, some mercy main is bound to come and reply and say she is only bad because you are playing her wrong! someone always comes and says that she is in a good state despite her 46% avg winrate across all ranks. maybe play safer! dont miss your sleep darts! talk about her nade like its OP when its not!
in all seriousnes, she needs a larger clip size or faster reload, along with some passive such as regen or a disengage ability. i think making sleep dart on a 10sec cooldown is a good idea too. not saying she should get that on top of the first two things, just brainstorming
Ana really shouldn’t be able to outheal Mercy or even Moira by design. She has two offensive CC’s which shutdown the other team. Mercy is the pure healer. Moira/Zen are dps healers. Ana is a CC healer.
Her strength is her crowd control. She can turn your fight into a 5v6 and disable the other teams healing entirely… you can’t compare her healing output without mentioning that.
Enough with this “pure healing” garbage as if mercy somehow just deserves to do the most healing because she doesn’t contribute damage even though the argument completely ignores the fact that resurrect is a major utility. If ana is working overtime trying to keep the team up and her shots are on point, she absolutely deserves to outheal a mercy.
Ana is basically a throw pick now unless you one trick her. No flex player should flex Ana over other healer.
Right click? I don’t think a constant +30% damage boosting is anecdotal for your team dps.
But to be honest I think Ana’s HPS is fine. What makes her interesting compared to other healers is her burst healing potential. She just needs better survivability against divers. Maybe 50 “shield” extra HPs.

It’s pretty anecdotal. I flicker damage boost really well, and outside of boosting an ult or helping a hog secure a hookshot kill, it’s pretty lackluster.
Bionade on the other hand is a game changer.
To be honest I’m starting to fear that Ana does need some kind of rework - even for high skilled players she can’t reliably perform her niche (long ranged single target healing) because she can’t even gain the height to get LoS, let alone reliably hit most characters, and her other niche (group heals) has been overtaken by Moira.
I love Ana’s kit but it just isn’t performing well enough, not even in the best hands. And to be frank, if Ana can only be used by people in GM it tells us that her skill floor is just too high to warrant a place in the game.
She doesn’t need a rework. Just a buff it’s enough. She’s one of the most fun heroes. Her kit is great and game changing. Only Nanoboost is quite useless or at least not game changing. Sometimes it’s even better if you don’t use it.
Buff Nano+ Healing threw shields+ Faster reload. And she’ll become more consistent.
Both those offensive abilities are her life line
You have to waste a nade on yourself to top up and I’ll let you guess what happens if sleep dart is on cooldown and someone atracks you and if it’s not you still have to hit it
You can disagree all you want, but it’s the truth. Mercy doesn’t effect the other team at all. Ana does. So when you ONLY talk about effects which help your team, you’re isolating one single factor of a full system to nitpick. Mercy has no CC. Ana has CC. Why not complain about Mercy’s lack of CC? It’s the same difference.
Bionade is an AoE effect which can be up 40% of the time. That’s 40% of the time you can stop the opponent from healing. I guess it’s a good thing the enemy Mercy has Rez, because she sure won’t be healing vs a good Ana.
im actually going to disagree on this, i see ana as a main healer along with mercy and moira. i think i should be able to put out as much if not more healing than mercy if i work hard enough. my complaint isnt necessarily how much healing i can put out, its just why do i have to work SO hard to do something mercy and moira and can just hold a button to achieve? do you know how it feels to get out healed by lucio when all he does is stand there? thats an actual OMEGALUL.
Fine, then remove sleep dart and bionade. This game isn’t designed to balance teammate vs teammate. It will NEVER do that.
Why are Genji and Tracer better DPS than Sombra? Because all Genji and Tracer do is DPS. Sombra is CC + DPS. Thus, part of her DPS power is removed so she has CC. Same with Ana.
If Ana heals better than Mercy, then Mercy is completely useless (unless we are making lower skilled heros weaker on purpose).
It’s game changer when the stars are aligned:
→ the enemy team is packed
→ you didn’t have to throw it at your feet a moment before because of enemy flankers harassing you
→ it doesn’t land in an enemy shield, matrix, or a teammate’s back cutting in front of you
→ your team actually reacts to an all-purple enemy team and pushes before it ends
