With respect, this take is so tired and disrespectful on the forums. When someone posts that they were unfairly actioned, here come the virtue signalers claiming that they know better and that the player deserved it because they have a toxic streak.
I’ve had a two week suspension after playing for a week with CHAT OFF!!!
I’ve gotten an actual ban (later reversed) because I picked Mercy too often in a specific Arcade mode and players yell at me, telling me they will report me, but I made the mistake of replying.
The most toxic thing in this game is the reporting system.
I have learned that this community is super snowflake. That means that if you win, you type “RNGG” in team chat. If you lose, you can type “RNGG” in all chat. That will minimize the reports.
I was endorsement level 5 and got instantly falsely banned twice, after nearly two dozen tickets I finally got ahold of a human being who reviewed and admitted they made a mistake. Endorsement ratings don’t mean anything and don’t protect you.
Hot tip: only say GG in any form first, when you lose. You can say it back after an enemy teammate has said it when they lose.
If you MUST say something first, change it to RNGL Next, or just gl next, or WP.
People have been using GG for win stomps too long, to the point some others have seen that and are sensitive about it/think it’s really poor sportsmanship/impolite at best/in poor taste. GG to many no longer means ‘well fought’ or is a ‘handshake’ like it was 15+ years ago.
If you actually read the naming policy you’re not allowed to use other IP copyright names, and Disney in particular is sue-happy for their stuff (though people who don’t like you or StarLord could report you for it, and if enough do it, well you saw the result of that). You’re also not supposed to use the names of real-life famous people. You can use your own name so long as it’s not JoeBiden or w/e. Everyone also gets one free change.
I may not be online enough to get the “rn” part (is “random”?), but I’d say you going “gg” when you win (as you claim so yourself) is the real issue here.
I’ve said “gg RNG” a gazillion times since I saw it on MH , no suspensions.
There must be something else there bud, you might be annoying to team mates consistently and they chose to report you for that (as an excuse).
They will never look into the ban system and it’s such a led down , no one talks anymore for the fear of getting suspension , they don’t even type ANYTHING . The soul is not the game , it’s the people and that’s what missing form this, people don’t report for minor stupidity things in higher or lower ranks , it’s always the mid ranks that are salty plebs. More banned acc = people creating more acc = better inflated numbers for investors = more collab skins = more kiri skins = more money ≠ better quality balance , gameplay experience
Never underestimate how low the common denominator can go. Your joke has a few of the letters of a big no-no word, obviously jumbled up, and either was autoflagged or reported by someone with next to none comprehension skills. That’s my take anyhow.
You must be in a different server then, here in mid east Asia people report you if u tell them how to play correctly cause somehow trying to win is a crime
