You basically get a chat ban after your suspension

Lets say you get the lowest possible suspension (2 weeks), then obviously your endorsement level drops to 0 and I am basically chat banned.
I played 7 ranked games today so far, not a single endorsement.
How am I supposed to ever write in chat again if I dont get any oft your dumb good boy star points in this weird system you forced on us?

What role do you play?

EDIT: I ask this, because if you go into QP for a bit and play support or tank you’ll get endorsed.

The chat ban afterwards is basically a ‘probationary period’ where players can play again but they can’t chat. Linking it to endorsement level is little daft, but it is what it is.

I barely play anything else than tank, but how is it ok that im forced to play this hellhole that you call QP just to be able to chat again in the HOPES that I get endorsed every 5 games instead of every 10.
We are not in real life where you get probation after you get released out of prison after you killed somebody, we are in a video game.
I sat through my two week ban, I wanna play like normal again.

I never said it was ok, I was saying ‘if you want your endorsement back to be able to chat again, this is one way of doing it.’

I personally think the punishment should be the punishment (i.e. ‘when it’s done, it’s done.’) Dragging it out afterwards tells me they don’t have much faith in the power of their disciplinary actions.

Either that, or they just really enjoy annoying the people they end up suspending. There’s no way of knowing.

I keep saying the safest way to play is to turn off all communications, They can’t get you on anything if you don’t say anything.

I suggest you to go to a psychologist or something if you keep getting chat banned. You might have some mental disorder that you keep abusing other players verbally to get yourself chat banned.
I use the chat all the time, and I’ve gotten angry at my team sometimes and I never got a warning so you must have said something that warranted your chat ban. I’m 100% sure it’s not for saying gg or something small like that otherwise I would get a warning by now.

play QP where you arent expected to use comms. you probably wont get anything in ranked cuz u are low endorsement level + no comms

clearly your normal is behaving poorly and being unkind to other players. why would they let you do that? obviously the ban is not the whole punishment, so sit through it and deal with the consequences of your actions buddy.

i got suspended and as such chat banned for a while too. but i didn’t come on here and complain because i could have prevented it by not being a peachhole and chose not to.

People with mentalities like yours is why Overwatch is going down. You are probably also the one of those players who are gonna report you for saying something like “Tank diff” etc.

Its been a week now, I played about 50 ranked games in this week.
I opened up a word document to count how many endorsements I got, to be fair the back of my palm would have been enough since it wasnt that that difficult to count.
3 endorsements. In 1 week of active playing. My account is basically perma chat banned at this point

well not everythings gonna go your way all the damn time now is it? i dont get endorsed 24/7. the best top 500 players dont get endorsed all the time either.

and whats so special and amazing about yours? youre upset because you cant type ‘gg ez’ at the end of a game.

Currently on a two week silence, and I keep chats muted and off. Until they end this nonsense of “Threshold” silences/bans, people are going to get abused by the report system.

I am just trying to discuss the flawed system of making the ability to chat depended how many endorsements you get that are in now way influenced by yourself and there is nothing you can change about it and all you gotta say is “lol stay banned buddy :nerd_face:”
Pretty sure you are more of a nuisance to the Overwatch community than I am
