This year I feel even more disappointed, if it comes to events.
Not to mention deleting their best event (archive), but putting collab in the middle of events just ruins the mood completely.
Now I don´t have anything against collabs, but why just not put them between events?
This year halloween and christmas didn´t feel “festive” because we had to look at random collab background the whole time.
I like when games get festive during holidays.

I am not really into christmas cosmetics, so that´s not bothering me. Tho Halloween theme cosmetics is something else!

It wouldn’t change anything. We aren’t magically going to get good events. They just don’t care.
You don´t get me. All I need to be happy is a christmas background on the menu during christmass. That´s all. I don´t expect them to improve.

Tbh I think they needed the collab in the start of this season to finish off the final quarter of the year with as much profit as possible to show shareholders. Not sure about the timing for last season’s tho

what events lol? the collabs are the events, the main selling point of overwatch 2 early season was the battle pass, the topic of the season and the mythic skin, all of that was sidelined the moment the first collab was announced, mythic skins quality started droping, hanzo only had recolors god, and only one season some pve but anyway, this game is so done, thats why they only make anime collabs, overwatch players are usually interested in anime

Not like it has been posted in the forum million times in advance even before the season starts.
I’ve gotten the skins for pretty much every cross-over so far (except Transformers, I don’t like that IP and the WoW cross-over cause I forgot to buy them…). Avatar is the first time I like the IP but don’t like the skins. Haven’t really seen all that many people use them either, wonder how well it’s actually doing.
