This is absolutely stupid, I’ve been trying to add my cross platform friend for the past 2 hours yet it’s still saying the same thing, even though I’ve been doing EVERYTHING Google has told me to do.
Check if you or they have full friend requests. That’s the most common reason that error happens, except for parental controls.
