Pharah:
Concussive Blast
Explosion damage reduced from 30 to 0.
Explosion knockback radius increased from 6 to 8 meters.
Knockback increased by 11%.
This is nice, except the part where you gave her 2 buffs for the 1 Nerf to the ability that needed no compensation buffs, nor any buffs ever again for that matter.
But even more important, is the fact that YOU FORGOT THE OTHER 80% OF THE NERFS PHARAH WAS SUPPOSED TO GET!
I’m sorry, maybe it’s actually the fault of we, the players.
Maybe we somehow convinced the devs that we all enjoy playing Pharahwatch, and it wasn’t just the Pharah mains and their Mercy kitten duo that they found on discord and are now boosting that enjoy it.
She didn’t really even get a slap on the wrist. It was more like a finger wagging, immediately followed by a piece of candy as compensation for having to endure said finger wagging.
I’m not nearly as worried about the tank buffs, although the fact that literally all of them got buffs, when maybe half needed some kind of buff or two, is crazy. Almost as crazy as Pharah dodging nerfs like she did this patch.
The issue with Pharah is that she has to be comparatively overpowered to most of the cast to be viable because she is being balanced around overpowered Godscans existing and dominating from bronze to GM.
As long as Widow, Sojourn, Soldier, Cassidy and Ashe continue to be all be artificially enforced into being ALL top tier in some point of the ladder, Pharah’s only way to be viable is to be equally overpowered.
No revert to her rocket speed, no CD increase on her mobility lol! Cowboy getting his range nerfed instead of his projectile size making Pharah even less countered overall, lmao!
