Not gonna lie I am a wee bit upset that every hero did not get a new voice line. It just feels like us the players are becoming 2nd class to the OWL and the ravonous needs of the corporate sponsors of said event.
I understand that you guys are getting in the neck to make sure that season passes are sold and you seem to be diverting a lot of attention to that.
But I seem to remember that when the game came out that none of the cosmetics would be hidden behind a paywall.
I guess heroes get up to three voice lines in total now with events. After they get three, their done getting anymore event voicelines.
Heroes aren’t even getting voice lines now? Not even one? Blizzard are starting to disgust me tbh.
At Halloween they’ll probably sell them at $5 a pop.
Brig got two and I got both of them in my first lootbox.
I think its less about OWL and more about how these events play over time.
If they added more and more stuff each event, the hero roster would be filled with event exclusive items. Which will be harder too obtain if you’re either new to the event, or didn’t get much during your time with the event.
With all the summer games together, we now have 16 heroes with a summer games legendary. Thats over half the current roster.
I sincerely hope this was an accident and that there are voicelines that just didn’t make it online due to error-- or that they have something new in mind for next year in joint with summer games. It feels pretty recycled at this point and it bums me out.
