I play since ow1 launch at gm level all roles, DVa is imo the longest most OP hero ever, atleast in EU console, maybe on pc or US the meta somehow is just different.
But just look at the leadboards, DVa is like 7-10 times in top 10 Tanks EVERY SEASON, just think about it what i said, its absolutely insanity.
She is also very easy to play and just picking her adds so much value for the team. She is low risk, high reward, with crazy amazing ability, two lifes and ok ult.
Yes there were more op heroes at many times in ow life, yes there is heroes i hate more for sure. But if i had to choose strongest hero averagely in ow lifespan, it definately IS DVa.

Iâd put Launch Brig and Bap as stronger than her tbh. Bap has never been bad before. Heâs only been âout of seasonâ. At least D.Va has been in states where she has genuinely been a bad hero to play lol.

While Dva is real good atm, what youâre saying sounds like a console thing. She has never been hard meta in ow2 yet. I will agree that her and zen were prob the 2 heroes meta the most in ow1 tho. On pc.

Why are you stating this as fact after we just come off the back of the p2w bs known as mauga meta.
Dva is good in this patch because this patchâs meta is all about being able to survive for longer than a second, which Dva is pretty good at because of her mobility, all dive tanks are pretty good this season.

Mauga was meta for like 3 weeks, and then the worst tank ever since.
And that was 3 weeks that should never be repeated, sure Dva was in goats but she wasnât an integral part of it, goats was a meta built on support power (brig) Dva was one of the tanks that was switched in or out as needed because she was one of the few tanks that could deal with pharah during the time of goats.
Mauga was hard meta for 3 weeks brig was meta for over a year and nearly single handedly killed the game.
Dva is kind of a jack of all trades and can be used in many different comps that doesnât mean she is the most op hero ever, it just means she is flexible and very popular.

She isnât the most op hero ever, she just might be the hero who was meta the most, along with zen. In ow1 she was meta from season 3 until 10. And then again for all the goats seasons. After that she was on and off depending on the patches.
My point was just mauga meta was such a short amount of time, and then into the trash bin for a much longer period.
I mean in top 10 of top 500 tank players there is 5 DVAs minimum every single time
As much as I hate D.va at least she folds under pressure unlike me watching a Sigma in masters just mitigate most of the pressure being put on him when my whole team was buffed by kitsune rush due to his perfect cooldown cycle.
Also D.va is played a ton on console high elo because she counters Xim due to those players playing Hitscan exclusively.
If you are going to lie, at least make it believable.
Moth mercy, launch brig, launch sigma, launch mauga, immortal bastion, all miles above dva at her peak.

Console gameplay is pretty warped by Xim and Dva matches up well vs pocketed hitscan cheaters.
