Yeaaahh I revoke my stance

The dash Nerf was honestly the worst possible thing to happen to Lifeweaver, heck even my friend was glad that got nerfed because it make him to hard to kill…

Buuutt withought that dash not only has my clutch ult charge gotten lower but getting aggro or even just basic living has gotten harder.

Even cycling platform plenty of heros have more then enough abilities to chase you onto that thing and withought the dash goving you that extra healing pass the dps passive it’s kinda meaingless…

My healing stats have definitely been boosted by the healing changes there very good…

But yeaaahhhh he just feels kinda teash now and Ironically enough I always questioned even myself just how important rejuvenating dash was because it’s just such a “Basic ability” surely it’s not one of the most important abilities in Lifeweavers kit…

It 100% is, 45 cut by the dps passive just makes him a setting duck for any hero or any rank where people know how to chase kills ESPECIALLY Sombra and your most definitely not surviving the virus…

And current dva… I wouldn’t recommend anyone ps4 switch xbox or pc to play weaver into that mess in any rank above gold…

If your one of those Weavers who just stayed way back in narnia you might barely notice anything, but I literally had a whole argument about Weavers aggresive ability was indeed his dash… the petals just survival and utility at best… sometimes it might help you kill the enemy team if there on high ground and you get your team up there, but no where near as effective and efficient and consistent as dash not by a long shot…

kinda thankful he was way too tanky before

He can’t make his usual aggro plays now so he’s kinda useless…

For my ranks he wasn’t that tanky because people actually look up… or they walk backwards to shoot you on the platform.

Only real way to deal with them was to kill them.

Your rank is console diamond iirc

Yeah so imagine higher ranks where people actually use there abilities to finish kills.

He should be kinda killable. Actually good changes on Lifeweaver at least.

Now hes not kinda killable guy just dies.

Was hit by a sombra virus and a flank yesterday died instantly.

Im assuming people in lower ranks hesitate which is why people say he felt unkillable but even people in higher ranks who always complained about how unstoppable he was usually just turned there brains on and dispatched him…

Erm, that’s just Sombra being Sombra now… she does 20 more damage with virus upfront.

Yeah she’s definitely broken right now but not just here Ive noticed without the dash hes a free kill for anyone with basic overwatch knowledge…

Its like hes pumping really good heals now but no way to actually win.

“Just stay in the back and hope you have a good team” was a strategy only reguritated by people who sucked at playing weaver and thought he couldn’t do anything himself…

I just think that the current META is just terrible for him. Even supports like Moira struggle to survive currently. Its crazy.

Current meta is pick Lucio and dive them instead of them diving you

That was the intent. Lifeweaver has always had too much survivability and self-sustain.

Worst case scenario, other heroes are too strong, making it easy for him to die to them.

He’s a bit less forgiving, but I don’t have a problem with it. Keeping dash as an escape tool for playing up-close was fun, but only worked until you ran into people who properly punished you. In my personal experience, that was very rare. I’m just thankful his buffs are finally taking his kit in a much more interesting, fluid, and proactive direction.

Welp, there goes everything. Even though they did give us other surprisingly good changes, I still don’t have confidence that they’ll revert the dash nerf. I was feeling really optimistic and ready to go, but hearing this kind of statement from one of the most confident aggro Weavers around is really concerning

Possible hiatus incoming
