The older you get the less that theory holds water. Give it 20 years or more and you will start to see the flaw in that line of thinking, it takes time and its beyond what just any one society thinks.
The favoured side of Star Wars was the rebel alliance and they were rebels/terrorists. It’s more a point of view thing

We already played as the hero (overwatch) in Uprisings and the anti-hero (blackwatch) in Retribution now it should be the time we play as the villain. Besides half of the Talon member aren’t really a bad guy, Sombra was just using Talon, Baps will betray Talon and Widow just got brainwash, it would be nice to know how they interact with each others

The difference was the rebels were not oppressive to the common weal - the Empire was… not every rebel or terrorist cause is justifiable in it’s beliefs - some are merely seeking control, people forget that.
On the one hand, I agree.
On the other, they made enjoyable heroes for Talon too, characters that people can grow to love. So I’m not surprised that many will like Talon more.
Plus Talon are the bad guys which is always alluring to many. That’s why so many on the Internet love Slytherin and bash on Gryffindor. Many will find the good guys boring but the bad guys interesting and when the bad guys are humanized, they fall in love with them.
Not me though, I’m an Overwatch fan, I just always root for the good guys and I’m a fan of superheroes.
What is interesting though is that Talon is a global war-propagating manipulative shadow organization in the story that has zero respect for human life and will murder any number of people who are in their way, causing immeasurable pain, suffering and despair. Hell the first time we see them, their assassin murders a peaceful monk who advocates for tolerance, love and understanding.
And people 100% ignore this because Talon are apparently the cool bad guys.

Maybe because we’ve already had a mission doing exactly that and it was one of the most fun game modes added since release?
Enjoying interesting plot points that create conflict is not the same thing as condoning those things. If the plot were as ideal as people would want their real lives to be, there would be no plot because there would be no conflict and OW would disband because they aren’t needed. People like villain storylines because they’re usually the main things that bring conflict to a story, which is the entire point of telling a story in the first place.
This is fiction, why do people act like enjoying villains is the same thing as rooting for real terrorists?

This is a company that banned the use of the OK symbol. No way would they ever put in an ending that could even remotely offend someone by the slimmest of possibilities.
It’s true, but if you remember at the Sombra cinematic, when she pulled up that hologram of information, in the middle there was a huge 
, and everything was linked onto it. So maybe secretly The Iris controls everything? Who knows. Will find out eventually!
I wouldn’t bet on that. 
I think I remember the eye thing but have we seen any symbols used for the Iris before? An eye would be fitting obviously but it’s hardly an uncommon symbol for shady organizations (although it would be really cool if it was connected to the god AI programs, I want to know more about them too). Here’s hoping Zenny boi gets some love soon.

If i remember correctly, no, we haven’t got any symbols or information at all for the iris. But i agree, it would be really cool, everyone focusing and spending resources on Talon, only, to later find out that there is actually a much bigger problem! Zenny boi has some huge lore that we haven’t discovered yet, i’m sure!
