Y’all about to attack me for this but

we need to get rid of or shorten the cooldown to redeploy the barrier on sigma.
His barrier is his main tool to nullify damage and becuase it is smaller than other barriers and very flimsy, he needs to be able to reposition it quickly to respond to various types of danger.
i have been putting a lot of time into sigma and i can tell you that right now he feels near unplayable UNLESS he is with a zarya who really knows what she’s doing or an orisa.
and don’t come in here telling me he should’ve been nerfed more and that the nerf was justified becuase he is seeing so much play…of course he’s seeing so much play, becuase you guys managed to get the devs to nerf him and orisa to where they basically HAVE to be played together now and the other tanks are still grossly underpowered.

I agree. His shield feels a bit clunky now.

Which I wouldn’t have any issues with, but he’s a HUGE target for on-coming damage, and without his shield he’s a sitting duck. You could (try) to eat the on damage, but the enemy can just walk around that.

I know they could just walk around the shield previously, but the answer for that was quickly repositioning it while you retreat.

Thanks to these new Sigma changes, I’m back to Rein.

Thread title could use an edit :joy:

repositioning the shield was the funnest part about him, taking it down to recharge then sending it back out against the widow :smiling_imp: was where the skill was imo i mean i was still practicing placing it to block dva bomb (im horrible at it, sorry teammates i let down ) when they changed it, now i’ll just go back to orisa i guess :disappointed_relieved:

I would be okay with this on one occasion. His shield speed is reduced OR his shield is made smaller. It is just too much to be able to set a 1500 shield relatively as big as Orisa’s shield anywhere you want at any time.

I don’t think the shield changes should’ve happened. They should have instead lowered his damage somehow. I think he needed a nerf but that wasn’t the right nerf and I think it leads him down a path where he’ll be garbage outside of 222 if they keep on that path.

No.

He doesnt need any more nerfs.

Im glad that players like you wont be taken seriously when it comes to balance ideas.

And btw, atleast try to learn how to use paragraphs before whining/demanding more nerfs to him.

I’m about to 1 up you OP because y’all will be down my throat even more.

Sigma is ridiculously overbloated and in balance terms is the new Brig. He will continue to receive nerf after nerf all throughout 2020 until they give him a soft rework.

Calling it. Come at me.

This.

The Sigma nerf was a slap on the wrist, with compensation on top of it. Why did Sigma deserve compensation in the first place?

Because he’s not OP.

Yeah sure, Blizzard just decided to nerf him because they hit him on a dart board.

You must be a comedian, a good one.

And it had absolutely nothing to do with the forum whining.

:roll_eyes::roll_eyes:

I’m kinda depressed people actually believe this.

Yeah, nothing to do with him being almost a must pick in OWL and High level play too.

I’m not. These forums can be seen as a direct line to the players of Overwatch.

I don’t know if the dev’s care about what people say on here, but its childish to think that it isn’t a possibility.

“Oh no, I have to think for 1.0 seconds before I pick my shield back up carelessly and get my teammates killed because gasp I forgot I was a tank and not just beefy DPS, WOE IS ME, however will I manage this one second CD!”
