I don’t understand why do we allow people to do this kinda stuff.
Is it too hard to block a player that creates a custom game with the words “xp” “farm” “experience”, something like that?
This wouldn’t completely fix the issue but it would at least make the situation a bit better.
I literally see this games on top of my list just sitting there. And I wonder if the owners and players in those games will ever get punished.
They don’t deserve to get more loot boxes then us. You should do something about it Blizz.
If you asked one of the devs to just go to the custom games browser for 10 minutes search for this xp farming games you would find these players pretty easily.

And you have probably report these people, if you want to.
What’s so bad about it? Overwatch has no economy that could be harmed by it, so I don’t see why they should spend resources to combat it.

Also XP farming doesnt give u much exp. It doesnt hurt ur gameplay so I see no reason to somehow block it. If it was really huge xp gains… it would be bad, but it is so little that I dont rly care about it.
The current method is to just sit on the point in a KotH map for like 10 minutes as either Mccree with unlimited ammo fanning the hammer or as sym and torb letting your “pets” deal damage so you don’t get kicked for being afk. After the 10 minutes are up the creater just restarts the game and you get like 4000 or less exp.
Oh the McCree FtH thing is clever. But is that really enough to fool the AFK timer, if you are not moving?
There’s a limit of 2k XP in custom games, someone’s putting in a fair amount of work to keep whatever that may be running efficiently so I don’t really see any real point in going out of your way to report them for what is probably nothing.

the cap of xp you can earn in custom games is like 2.5k, when you can pretty much to the same thing in QP you are doing in custom game and earn from 3-4k xp, or just do the pve modes and get like 3k xp everytime

You get far more xp grouping with someone and doing the event. And as far as I know Custom games cap at 2.5k a match.
