Xbox in game hour counter is accurate?

I played a lot of OW on my Xbox, and in game, it tells me I have around 400 hours. But there is a hour counter in your xbox profile that shows how many hours (in this case it shows how many days) you played your XOne games, and it tells me I’ve played 54 days of OW (Around 1300 hours). So, wich one is correct?
My profile is: EmployingSpace if you wanna check to make sure

Both. The Xbox Live manager tracks overall operation time of the game software including any time in the menu screens and whatnot. The Career Profile playtime shows active playtime during the match, but does not include time played from menu screens, hero selection screens when the match is not active or start-of-round pre-game setup (a.k.a. “Prepare your defenses”, “Prepare to Attack”). Also some arcade game modes are off the record.

The sad truth but true

This. None of the pve events modes are included as well as some of the arcade modes that are included were added later. Meaning it did not retro actively calculate the time you had in them prior.

I play this game since november of 2017, but that relieves me, so not much was WASTED…

No I’m saying that the xbox counter, while it does include idle time, is closer to the actual time played than the career profile counter

Ohhh, I get it, thanks for making it WORSE for my social life (I am JK)

Could be worse you could have a virgin… er… I mean Plat border like me with 3400 hours according to xbox

Holy shoot… I call it the SUPER GAMER BORDER

I’ve also been playing since launch so it is what it is.
