Not true. It’s a bug that they are aware of. You should be able to favourite and equip the last 3 season’s shop skins (well the select ones anyways)

We are aware of an issue where skins granted as a Game Pass seasonal benefit are not staying equipped or listed as a favorite skin when you log out of the game.
