Xbox controller related issues

My girlfriend is having this issue where her aim randomly pulls in different directions when playing. We’ve tried multiple tests to replicate the issue: restarting my Series S, swapping controllers, trying a different console entirely. It seems to only happen on mine though and I know that the Xbox isn’t the issue and both controllers are fine. This issue only happens in OW and only on my console and my internet is perfectly fine. When it happens though, the audio on the controller cuts out for anyone in a party and she says she’s “fighting the controller”. It only happens for a split second and I know she’s not crazy because I’ve experienced it to. Is there anything that you guys know as a possible fix for this?

Edit: We’ve tried on multiple accounts now, her account as well as mine. Having the same issue on both.

i had the same issue i am assuming she is using a full usb ps2 style pc gaming controller that has a solid wire not replaceable i did a switch to the turtle beach recon controller usb type c and now don’t experience drift on the game

If you do end up getting this controller go to the microsoft store get the app for it and update the drivers before you enter ow because the default drivers aren’t up to date

and a bonus on the controller it has a built in enhanced sound card so you have less wires with your headset
