EXAMPLE Steps to Repeat:
1 - Connect Xbox controller to PC.
2 - Launch game.
3 - Access Training > Practice Range.
4 - Select Symmetra when prompted and proceed to Practice Range.
5 - Press START button > Options > Controls.
6 - Navigate to [Weapons & Abilities] section, third column and click on ‘Spray’. The prompt ‘Bind “Spray”’ should appear.
7 - Tap down on the Xbox controller directional pad.
8 - Escape to gameplay.
9 - Tap down on the Xbox controller directional pad.
EXAMPLE Observed result:
The hero does not spray. The hero takes the action that was previously assigned to the down direction on the directional pad.
EXAMPLE Expected result:
The hero should spray.
Summary:
Although the STR given are one example, other tests have been run. In all cases, the ability to rebind keys on the Xbox controller on a PC appear to have been nullified. There appears to be no way to rebind keys.
Suggestion for devs:
The recent changes to Symmetra and the ‘Interact’ function are a likely culprit for this bug.
