The day before the controller was working just fine. Today I booted up Overwatch and my controller skips when scrolling. A button opens up my chat and none of the buttons do what they are supposed to do. I’ve tried Repairing files. I’ve updated controller drivers. Other games it works fine but Overwatch no loner recognizes my controller

It’s doing the same thing for me. Its also happening on Black Ops and Warzone. It woks fine with all other games, but nothing on Blizzard/Battlenet. I also thought I needed to update the controller and that didn’t fix the issue. I reset all controller options in games and it’s still not working.
I was able to figure it out myself and fix the issue. Go to Steam - settings - Controller - General controller settings - Uncheck the box next to Xbox Configuration Support - hit okay and restart Battle.net and it should work again! This fixed the issue for me. I don’t know why this Steam setting would affect it but it does.

It’s not just pc, xbox is also having problems when i move my joy stick foward it takes me backwards from time to time and it’s making it difficult to heal teammates or to even aim correctly
