I’ve seen a couple posts saying it’s strong but I feel the opposite. Most of his dmg is poking at range but the projectile is so slow that it’s not that threatening. His dmg feels about as strong as a Sym. In close range he is not a threat at all. His movement doesn’t feel that great and his only defense is the CC but if you dodge it then he’s a sitting duck. Feels like any dive dps can easily destroy him.
What do you think? Does he feel pretty underwhelming to you? I could be wrong though. I remember when Juno released many thought this about her too so maybe we just haven’t figured him out yet!

Agreed. It feels like something is just missing from his kit. I heard the devs say the primary fire is the core of his kit, but it’s just too slow and unwieldy to feel reliable. Feels like it should maybe heal too like Ana’s primary

Its too strong, he can 3 tap squishies with next to zero mechanical skill.
I am not going to pretend that his damage is consistent as it is clearly not; however, hypothetically, if your team is playing as they are supposed to, he is one of the only heroes that can kill them from behind cover which is quite valuable. It’s niche, yes, but it is not as if his damage is hopeless in neutral.
He also has enough to fight off predators if you use his abilities properly and that’s all you can ask for, really.
The Useless Goddess has his uses.

He can solo kill a brig in like .70 seconds, primary fire, E, primary just saw it happen.
Go do it in practice mode, and Brigs got armor.
The first one takes them by surprise. The second one you skillfully weave into their hitbox with expert tracking, and finally, once they feel safe behind cover… You pounce for the kill!!!
