WTF!? We have to wait quite a long time whilst waiting for a ranked match, but we cannot minimize the game to the taskbar and browsing or doing another task on our PC whilst waiting! Even Paladins, Rogue Company, Valorant, and any other game, you’ll name it, let you to do so, but not OW2!? Those useless fatso dudes and gals of devs are only making commute only between their bed and chair and doing nothing but continuously eating without any real grasp of logic and reality whatsoever!

Take a deep breath and calmly explain what happened because without context it sounds like a coincidence.
Were you accused of cheating?
Did you miss the match start while you were alt-tabbed and get kicked for inactivity?

I have the feeling that you are not telling the complete story. No, minimizing the game is not a ban reason. They cant even detect if you have minimized the game or not. Its a local thing.

I’m very confused. Unless you get into a game and you’re AFK. You can turn in the background sound and have your taskbar blink when you get into a match. At least that’s what mine does.
Reminds me of someone in old forum saying they are got banned for no reason and that Blizz falsely accused him/her of cheating and Jeff K came in refuted him. Those were the days.
Anyways i minimize the game often and never got banned.

Not only can you minimize while waiting in queue.
But you’re OW app blinks orange (Win 10) when the match is found and it’s waiting for you to pick a hero.

Glad someone remembers that post. I wished i could find it. I wished they were more moments like those in this present forum. I do miss the devs coming often and spoke to us.
