I tried to make a lobby for prop hunt today and always says invalid game mode and not anywhere on the official games either??? Prop hunt was the ONLY reason i even have this horrible game installed on my PC.
it was only an event game mode and the event is over now. but it’s coming back for week 3 of the OW2 (!) anniversary event so towards the end of the season you’ll be able to play it again
It was a limited time mode for the Magic and Mayhem event.
That event is over, so the mode is gone now. I hope it returns later, but for now it’s gone.
Thanks for the info, just uninstalled the game, was literally only reason i played.

Did you not read the part where its coming back? Now you’re going to have to reinstall lol

man I know OW2 has it’s problems but ain’t no way that terrible mode of all modes is the only reason someone has it installed

Excellent. It was a fun mode, if a little bit broken because of how Kiriko players could find places to lodge themselves high in the air where it was difficult for the Genji players to kill them.
That mode can be played in so many other games too. OW’s version was pretty mid.
Give us competitive prop hunt
Personally I didn’t enjoy it, but I can see how others might.
It gave me anxiety.
