My wired connection is fine and it only happens in Overwatch 2. Don’t know what’s happening with the game since the midseason patch, something is really off. Hope they can fix it quickly.
I am also in the EU region, and the exact same started happening to me a few minutes ago. (Happend even before, but rarely)
My ping usually around 40, but right now i am getting ping 150 in Overwatch 2.
I’ve checked my connection before launching, meanwhile playing, and after playing Overwatch 2, my internet and other games are totally fine, but in Overwatch 2 right now i am getting ping 150…
edit: the difference is only, that i am on PC
+edit edit: i’m getting 250+ ping right now, i’m totally placed on a server somewhere on the other side of the world…

Hi Nicole - just wanted to give you an FYI that the same issue is happening for me and many others in OCE - regularly getting our competitive games placed onto NA, Singapore and Tokyo region servers with as high as 150-200ms ping.
In my last comp game, which was placed on the Las Vegas server, myself and everyone else on my team (all solo players) were in Australia, so we all had very high ping. It’s been going on for at least a week now, less than half of our games are being put on the correct (Sydney) server.
