As the title says, keybinds will suddenly stop working during a match, saying “Key is not bound”. Or sometimes a keybind will just do the wrong action altogether.
Examples:
- Trying to use Symmetra’s teleporter, but shows “Key is not bound” even if it worked earlier in the same match.
- For me, binding E to Interact triggers Ability 2 instead, even if Ability 2 is assigned to another key or even has all keybinds cleared (after some further testing, Pharah is the only hero this happens on for me)
This seems to happen most often to the Interact action, but occasionally on others as well. I know it’s not just me experiencing it, I see it happen often to the popular streamers.
This has been a bug in the game for a very long time, at least a year now, and I’ve finally got fed up enough to report it.
Edit: This is still an issue. It’s on multiple heroes.
Also happens with Hero Select, Toggle Voice, sprays, and various other voice line binds. Game just thinks keys are not bound or bound to other commands.
This is really frustrating, because it hinders my ability to play the game & communicate with my team properly. It’s pretty much impossible for me to use the Symmetra teleporter on several heroes.
