TL;DR: Wrecking Ball’s ball form, based in real life laws of physics and also in-game physics, shouldn’t be able to be body blocked by any hero, specially squishies, and should’ve had (by default) this passive ability since his launch.
Continue reading to know more about my reasoning behing this. Please know that I know he can do all of this while on fireball, but this is not about fireball, this is about his above average speed while on ball form without fireball.
It seems unbelievable to me that a 150hp hero can body block him. I mean, his name is Wrecking Ball isnt it? It should be natural for Ball to have a passive that allows him to not be body blocked while on ball form. Of course it will be so he doesn’t disrupt, boop or inflict any damage but just slightly move his enemies (like when you move another teammate when you try to push them, or baby dva pushing dva bomb).
Sounds very natural to me since he in fact, while on ball form, moves faster than any other hero in the game (except Soldier and Sombra??), and physically/realistically speaking he rolls with a higher force and speed than the rest of the cast, meaning he should be able to move away any hero on his path.
Think about it for one second, a HUGE mechanical, robotical ball with no visible propulsion system, turbines, wheels, etc., rolls with above average speed through the ground without the need of being on a downward slope. OH, and it also jumps without the assistance of said systems or legs/knees. Just imagine the actual capabilities and horse power this mechanical/robotical ball needs to have for it to do such movements.
I seriously don’t get why this wasn’t something the devs thought about this hero, its ironic and laughable how a tiny skeleton with some flesh around it and 150hp is able to actually completely stop a HUGE rolling mechanical ball.
