This game must really be hurting bad if there is 10 minute queue times for dps in BRONZE lol the majority of the player base… Marvel Rivals put a hurting on them bad.
Bronze isn’t the majority of the player base. When the devs have released info on rank distribution, the average player is something like gold or plat.

Sorry if I have to take away the illusion…but the average player and thus the majority play in platinum.
Pretty sure the devs have said multiple times the mid point is mid gold. But gold and plat are the 2 most populated ranks.

Yes, both should be around 26%. But in any case it’s not bronze😅
The only ranks that have fewer players than Bronze would be GM and Champion, maybe high Masters
If I remember correctly the the distribution was a bell curve with the peak being exactly 2k mmr, or the line between silver and gold. So most people are either high silver or low gold.
I still wonder how matchmaking works for bronze. Because the top 1% is hyper competitive players who are willing to wait longer for a balanced match. But super low tier bronze is likely hyper casual and isn’t willing to wait as long.

It’s not the game hurting thst bad, it’s just simply not many people manage to be in that rank. I’ve watched some bronze malaysian guy stream a while ago. Bronze players are like playig on 30 fps 200 ping instead if the other way around to be ranked that low.
I never really noticed a difference between gold and plat rank players. Like, I couldn’t guess someone’s rank just from seeing them play. I can spot Masters players, because they exhibit some of FPS veteran habits.
I haven’t seen distribution stats in awhile but last I saw roughly 5% of the playerbase is sitting in bronze.
Silver accounts for nearly 20% though - and bronze / silver can and do play together. That’s roughly 1/4 the player base to sit with.
For comparison last we saw GM was like less than 1%, and masters was less than 2%.
Like mentioned gold and plat are the biggest buckets, accounting for the over whelming majority of the player base (Gold being the biggest, plat being next). Literally something like 2/3 the player base damn near are in there.
But ya - you still should have roughly 1/4 the player base to pull from. So even if it’s a small bucket compared to gold / plat, still not the best sign to be waiting awhile there.

Dps queue times in Plat/Gold are about 1 minute right now. Sometime not even a minute.
Guess it’s time for you to rank up.
