Would You Rather (Red or Blue)

RED
Overwatch stays the way it is present time BUT we get a Netflix Arcane level animated series with at least 8 seasons and some animated short 3D quality movies later down the line or inbetween seasons

OR

BLUE
Overwatch gameplay wise is close to perfect, no promises are broken, nice monetisation (lootbox + BP + shop. shop guarantees the skin you want for $10 legendary, lootbox chance of getting skins or premium currency, BP gives premium currency) but we are guaranteed to NEVER get a show or movie of any sort no matter what.

I bet on zero

What kind of question is that? Blue all the way.

I want to play Overwatch not watch Overwatch.

Its a would you rather questions meaning it can be highly unlikely to happen or super realistic. This one is highly unlikely on both sides.

im red for sure. anything overwatch media related ill just eat it up. maybe in another timeline overwatch would have just been an anime series and pixar movie lol (game would have never existed i mean)

:point_up:t6: Yep, this. I vote for blue without hesitation.

Red, because I trust them to do animation well. I still don’t think they have the expertise needed in game design.

Blue all the way. As much as a show or movie would be cool, id rather be playing something i can enjoy for a long time over something i might get tired of watching after the first episode.

If these are guarantees, I take the blue pill. But let’s be honest, that is never happening. There’s at least a chance of Red happening.

The current game is terrible and no animated series are going to make it more playable. Not like the game has any deep lore to begin with.

Will we still get the animated shorts? If so, then I’m fine with blue. I think those are fine enough.

I think I’m going to go with blue, though believe it or not I had to think about it. However, I have concluded:

  • There will always be at least one other great TV show out there
  • Experiencing Overwatch’s story secondhand while enjoying a vastly improved game is acceptable

Same. I have little to no qualms about the state of gameplay recently, so it comes down to animated content vs ā€œbetter monetizationā€ – within the scope of the current predatory microtransaction paradigm in gaming – and I just don’t have very strong feelings in either direction.
