So… pretty straight-forward question…
- Comics, I dont like to read and I like nice pictures !
- Short-stories ! Better to explore the universe in more depth.
Okay, okay, maybe you can see my bias in the way I formulate the question, but still, pretty curious to see the different point of views on the matter !
ETA : Well… i initially wanted to create a poll, but apparently I’m not allowed to, so… no poll for you.

comics…that way they can hide fun stuff in the backgrounds.
also it’s easier to be more visually expressive with comics. who doesn’t like good art?
Comics, since I’m into visual stuff. But I understand that comics are pricey, so if it means having more stories to tell, then I’d rather have those.
I’d rather have as much info as possible, so short stories for me with occasional illustrations

no I want them to focus on fixing the game. comics and vids last 15-20 of viewing but take up a lot of there development. would rather they focus on keeping a base of players for the game so they have funding to keep making the comics and vids for the people that care about them.
I want something that’s a bit in-between. But I do prefer the short stories; they still include pictures throughout it.
I love both but I’ll go with short stories. They hold more details and gets produced quicker (in theory). They also provide more depth into each character’s personality due to the allowance of lengthy dialogue.

I’d rather have a Netflix show.

I would prefer more comics, but short stories would be good too, here and there.
Short stories. Comics take more time to deal with panelling, artists etc. I’d like more, well thought out, short stories of the same tone of the Bastion/Torbjorn one but with some actual pacing. My God that could’ve been interesting but it sucked

I’m gonna say it depends on the story and the info they want to tell. Bastet was best told as a short story, but other stories would probably best be told in comic format (or an in-game mode, or an animated cinematic). I really love the use of different media to tell all the stories.
Which would I rather if I had to choose? Short story.

Both. Both is good.

Story.
It had a lot of definition and I envisioned it better plus there was artwork on top of it to help give an idea. I feel comics also take way to long to make due to so much print and art needing to be done.

Short stories despite comics coming close, but I think making short stories would be much faster than comics and more beneficial?
I felt it was longer and I was drawn in much better with excitement reading it. I feel short stories are probably easier to manufacture given the lack of a lot of art and time for panels so it comes out faster?
This game needs lore pretty badly, though. The art in Overwatch is phenomenal and most characters have a lot of fans, but there’s not as much information on each of them than there should be with this game being a few years old. Knowing stuff about the character you like will make you enthusiastic about him or her; it’s like that with all storytelling and character development.
this game needs content that isnt a battle pass, skins, lore, sprays, stickers, voice lines, or anything else that isnt gamplay related making it more impactful for a individual to do well without relying on a team at all no matter the character.
