Now it is NOT because of DPI or my mouse. Wanted to make that clear. So my wrists do weird shaky twitches and flicks on its own (not severe like Parkinson’s Syndrome). I never turned mouse acceleration on before (turned it off right when I built my PC). Or are there any third party applications that OW allows (I am assuming none) that can help me with my twitchy wrist? And the whole point on why I moved to PC is to not use a controller and I know my aim would probably be even worse on one (was bronze on xbox, sooo).
Ok well turn mouse acceleration on and find out!
Will do! Will report back
No.
It’d make your aim more inconsistent but give it a try
If you have shaking hand try adding weight to mouse.
Can’t. No weights. I used to have a 127g mouse and my aim shaked then. Shakes the same amount with my new mouse (89g with lithium battery)
Another shakey hand person here. Turn down your sensitivity so that small movements barely register is the best advice I can give, you wanna find that middle ground where you can aim quickly enough for your own skill, but so that your twitches don’t throw you aim off wildly.
Nope. Can’t turn below 4.5 comfortably and my aim is good 3.5 or under
800 dpi
What hero do you main?
Whats your grip style on your mouse?

This image is of mouse grip styles. You could try changing your grip to Claw grip so less of your hand is in contact with your mouse, so its just up to your fingers.
Other than that id say just lower your sens.
Turning will be bad but its a trade off. You could also try getting used to a dpi changer for turns but wouldnt recommend it because the amount of muscle memory you need is crazy.
Widowmaker, Mccree, D.Va, Roadhog and Zenyatta. Top character is Widowmaker
- Widow try experimenting with lowering scoped sensitivity.
I have another question : Do you always have shaking aim or when you are about to shoot?
When I am about to shoot I do a tiny twitch
You cannot turn on mouse acceleration in overwatch, it will always take raw input. It completely ignores any Windows settings. I would recommend lowering your sensitivity and just learning to get used to it. It’s a pain, but I went from a sensitivity of 10 to 2 when I decided to “git gud” and it took me about two weeks for me to never want to go back.
I did and I can’t turn below 4.5 comfortably. 3.5 is the maximum for meh aim. Best aim is around 3.2
Ah it’s about this… I had that… my solution to this problem was to simply set my mind to “One shot one kill”
I don’t know if it’s reliable solution though. I trained with lucio bot (headshot only) alot as Widow maybe that will help you.
It’s just muscle memory.
i got the same issue, shaky aim… even when tweaking mouse speed
i am using my wrists while aiming
They actually make a mouse acceleration program that will work in overwatch. It’s legal to use as far as I know.
It makes sense that it could help, you could run very low settings and only big movements would be affected by the acceleration. The widows one wont affect overwatch
That’s what is shaky, my wrists
