Would anyone else like 1 mine Junk back

Honestly I hate new Junkrat. I’d rather have old 1 mine Junkrat back with 120 DMG mines than tiny bomb, 50 DMG mine rat.

Would anyone else like it if they just reverted him back to his old 1 mine state and just made riptire faster? (I’d honestly feel like he would be better and more fun)

Damage falloff starts straight from the model, so the mine has to be literally on top of someone to do the full 120.

Unfortunately, since mine interaction with players often has it fly off when it hit the model, its almost hard to get the full value.

Most of the time, you’re left with damage you’re unsure that does between 100-70. One that gives you the combo and the other leaving the targets alive.

Which sucks tbh, so a consistent mine would be better.

After a direct hit of 120 damage, 90 doesn’t seem so small.

Because you’ll die regardless, and it’s a lot of burst damage against tanks.

Except his small bombs are also very hard to hit.

Not to mention 90 is still a lucky amount of damage. I’d say the average damage in general for mine is probably 75

this is what i would want, one mine junkrat would make him f tier again unless its on a shorter cooldown

True. I just want consistency on mine. Same with bombs, the stupid ping pong ball hitbox is infuriating

Nevermind the fact you can walk into a mine unknowingly on the ground and take the full damage, instead of the splash.

Nevermind the fact that Junkrat can chuck his mines a good distance.

Nevermind the fact that a direct hit + mine has always been his combo to kill a target.

What? A widowmaker can also close their eyes and get a lucky headshot.

What point are you actually trying to get across?

Anywhere past 5 meters it’s extremely hard to hit someone with a bomb as they’re very predictable and can be dodged easily with AD strafing.

There’s basically no reason to play junk over Hanzo when he accomplishes the same thing but with consistency and the ability to instagib someone halfway across the map

Junk is frustrating to play with/against because he’s inconsistent besides against barriers and his ult.

I’d be okay with a consistant mine doing 75 or 70 in the air and 12 on the ground. This prevents the old 2 shot combo that felt so bad while making him way more consistant

The grenade hitbox isn’t the problem.

Its the inconsistent mine that’s the problem

If people walked into a mine unknowingly on the ground, that’s on them and rare to happen considering its visible and obvious unlike trap who at least sinks to the ground.

Junkrat mine tossing speed is also similar to his grenade speed, which is one of the slowest projectile speed in the game. Sure, you can toss a good distance if you practice but by the time it gets there, people have a good time to actually move and dodge it already.

Direct hit + mine used to do that, but now with the inconsistent mines, there’s a small percentage that they can live through it simply because the damage isn’t consistent in the difference of 20-30 hp.

Living with smaller grenades is possible or inconsistent mine is one thing, living with both is terrible.
