Would a 3rd party comp mode fix comp?

I feel like the comp mode is so far gone that its just not worth the stress that results from playing it. Half the people playing either don’t want to be there or are there to sabotage it. People looking for a place to actually play a high intensity proper game of OW don’t really have a place to go outside of pugs. Is there a way to organize a comp mode via 3rd party services?

i was actually a fan of this a long time ago (still am). a premium (or i guess free if anyone wanted to make one) matchmaking system like face-it for ranked… i always thought it was odd that face-it never did come to overwatch but back when i was looking into it, at the time Blizzard explicitly disallowed any services like that so it never happened

never checked up on it again, figured they wouldn’t go back on that policy anytime soon

Sure, people do it all the time on streams; you just need an organizer and a reason to join.

Very few people are going to join any old random custom 6v6 role-locked match by themselves, because that’s just regular solo queue without the benefit of matchmaking.
