Worst ultimates of the game? Reworks? Buffs?

Which one has the worst effort - reward proportionally?

Excluding petal boy i think It could be soldier 76 tactical visor, due to the amount of healing, inmortalities etc … A body shot aimbot- based ability doesnt make sense any more. Also i think its a pretty boring ult, sometimes i even forgot i have It.

Do u have this feeling on any other ultimate?

Aw, I wanted to trash on Lifeweaver more… My boy’s busted ult dies in a few seconds in most cases, doesn’t have enough range to fully cover a fight, has a delay on its initial burst heal, and takes forever to charge even with constant healing.

If we want to talk about worst ults though, definitely still High Noon. I think they fixed the bugs but it’s still best used as an anti-Mercy tool.

Maybe the highnoon could deal more damage to one specific enemy if you aim at him, while the rest of the enemy team still taking the same damage as always (as an idea yo make a proper Buff idk)

Winston’s ultimate I think is one of the weakest tank ultimates in the game, probably needs some more damage and/or move speed. Possibly less knock-back per swing so Winston can get more hits in.

Doomfist ult is trash, but I want him moved back to damage role anyways (stun on RP removed & it only does impact damage, as well as knock-back reduced. And Block removed of course for probably Rising Uppercut again, but it doesn’t knock up as high).

Winston ult is hight mobilitty and situational, dont think is a bad ult overall since its main use is disrupt enemy team, and still working for that purpose.

Doomfist one is actually weak for deal damage, but good for positioning, maybe the problem with him is not just is ult, but his hability kit in general; anyways i hate doomfist so i dont care :slight_smile:

You can afk either ult and still get pretty great value.

deadeye, meteor strike, and rocket barrage

these are the infamous three ults that guarantee the user’s death in some capacity

the sad thing is most other ults in the game provide way more value without much risk

blizzard either needs to make these ults more lethal to account for how difficult they are to use, or simply make them less risky and more lenient

Its still not amazing, but I dont think its competing for the worst.

Barrage has got to be up there. Best case scenario you’re looking to trade 1 for 1.

High Noon is too easily countered to be good. Its basically a zoning tool, but Widow does that just by existing.

I had forgotten rocket barrage sorry, i think the same. In very low ranks is decent but make no sense in the rest, i like the concept but definetly is a high Risk ult.

The problem with soldier one is that you still having to aim at the head during the ult to do proper dmg ( and that still depending on ur own skill and aim, that in mid ranks still being hard, ir maybe is my problem xd). Anyways the main thing is that for me is a pretty boring ult

Doom, Cassidy, Orisa (even with recent buffs its mid and usually gets you killed)

but I think the worst ult in the game is Pharah’s, huge power potential, but even the slightest mistake or any sense on the enemy team and you die for it, i’d be willing to say 80% of Pharah ults end with Pharah’s death

BAMF - Needs rework. Worst part of his kit. At worst it does nothing cause they either hide or CC him out of it. At best it gives you a kill without the need to aim your cursor.
The least they could do is to not light the guy up like a christmas tree to show everyone where Wally’s at.

The Magical Sniper Boy - it doesn’t work from up close and from afar it’s telegraphed. Pretty easy to avoid. No need for buff or rework though - fix his arrow hitbox first.

Tanks seem fine with their ults except for:
Doomfist - The positiong argument was valid when he was a DPS, now with him being Tank and having sort of a fixed position, a Block and weak kit it no longer is needed that much to engage or retreat as it used to. It needs to either make more dmg or rework the thing completely.
Junker Queen - too easy to CC or deny with Kiriko. It’s a cool idea but it’s not giving Queenie that much for how risky it feels.

PS: Forgot about Dva (probably as I don’t play her often). When your mentally out of the metal ranks level it’s the least valuable ult in the game. You can hide behind the payload/robot and ignore it like it never was. But her Mech Recall can make for a sneaky kill.

Least reward for the effort you put in?

How did you all forget about Bastion’s artillery barrage ult? Even when it was bugged to let you fire infinite shots it still failed to secure elims most of the time.

personally, i think the worst effort to reward ult is…
Reapers
its not a bad ult, but i cant easily wipe your entire team by just walking into the center

Soldier ult is pretty weak. It’s only good for taking out a Pharmercy then dying to the other 3 on the enemy’s team.

Deadeye is also very weak, makes no sense that it has to charge. It should be instant headshots. He gives too much warning to take cover versus Pharah or Reaper who just let it rip.

To the people saying LW’s ult, they’re using it wrong. Use it as a screen clutter or block pathways or crutch to give you more time to heal. It has multiple uses.

Bastion ult is often low reward but its also very low risk as you can hide and its over quickly. Opposite of Phara ult which is high risk and possibly high reward. I think bastions ult is better than pharas because dying in a team fight is worse than ulting and possibly not getting a kill, just imo

Pharah’s ult is best used to quickly erase someone up close, especially a support. People try to use it for WYKKYD SYKK POTG attempts and get mad when they get domed in the process–it ain’t flashy to explode one single support, but it gets games won.

It’s just the hardest ultimate to use in the game. The difference between someone who is good at juggling with that ult, and normal players is huge. The ult let’s his play more aggressive cuz he can pop it to save his life, confirm that kill, and cause a lot of disruption. It’s an amazing ult but so dependent on player skill.
