Worst patch notes..... ever?

lemme get this straight.
ana sojourn zarya are hard HARD meta!!!
zero nerfs.
genji is performing REALLY well!!
four buffs.
illari is singlehandedly the worst hero in the game…
a small buff to one of her perks only while ulting and a quality of life change that shouldve been implemented yesteryear.
hero balance still needs a lot off work!!!
no hero balance changes.
season 9, dps passive and the numerous tank passives are still problematic!!
zero reverts/changes.

bravo devteam you’ve finally made a patch that doesnt even make sense at all and does quite literally nothing any player was asking for for the last months!!!
competitive ow is now completely dead

It’s just the balance for this game isn’t where it should be for them to just solely update the perks. I’m not saying every hero needs number changes or things like that but it was severely disappointing looking at the patch notes today and only seeing them touch/change perks besides Illari (which was very needed)

It just feels kinda bad?

perks also didn’t solve any real issues in the game. all the problems that where there before perks are still there but worse.

not enough to make her viable illari wont see any more playtime then before i guarantee
but hey genji a top performer gets 4 buffs!

i just got out of my 4 matches for the lootbox as echo and lemme tell you NOTHING DIES. reaper in every game. zarya in every game. ana in every game. sojourn in every game. genuinely this patch is top 3 worst patches in ow history

Whats wierd to me to is that they openly said that they saw feedback about stack overflow being unfun to use and go against, and then buffed it.

Not that I’m complaining as a sombra player (and honestly, anything that makes doom/ball miserable is good in my book), but it feels backwards.

i genuinely think if these patch notes where reversed and all them would be net nerfs it would still be better then what they released today

Zen got no updates to perks, muhaha. PERFECTION, rofl!
Enjoy your 3.78% pickrate, geniuses.

They nerfed core Torb just to transfer some of its power to the most useless perk of the game.
They refused to replace the worst with better one. Instead, they decided to try to make the worst perk desirable. Simply because someone in the dev team thinks that Torb running and hammering his teammates is funny.

This is all you need to know about devs competence.

that im used to at this point. but these patch notes are a whole new level of bad.
whatever the devs are smoking imm gonna need some to process this

Sentence should end there.

Honestly one of the better patches. No changes (that matter) are better than whatever changes they would’ve made instead. At this point I’m a maintenance mode advocate. The more they change the worse it becomes, so just stop changing things.

Illari can use Outburst during Captive Sun now, which I think is new, could be wrong but I remember it being locked before.
But I’m not sure since it wasn’t mentioned in the patch notes, although, Sombra’s UI change wasn’t either so maybe there are multiple undocumented changes.

They should just move her to Dps. Her kit is :dog2:

She cannot do anything if you are not pillar hugging.

are you delusional? okay? this patch does nothing. where playing the same meta for the whole season…
everything is oppressive to play against.
the game isnt fun. this patch does not make the game fun.

it really doesnt matter. her ult is unreliable at best. just pick ana she is better in every way.

Did you type this with a straight face?

this balance patch isnt bad, the whole game is bad

I kinda expected them to buff instead of nerf, but then buffing Genji is crazy.

Game is fun for me and a lot of other people, so at some point I feel it’s a mentality thing.

Illari is fine. Hit more headshots, get more ults. That’s been my play style and it works well. Her ult just requires a lot of game knowledge and practice using

No one at higher level who actually hits head shots plays Illari. No one at a lower level who cannot reliably hit such head shots will play Illari either.
This isn’t a mentality thing. It’s a logic thing. It’s in the darned numbers, bro.
That said, at mid ranks if mechanics are good? illari isn’t too bad. But I legit never see her played outside of Quickplay.

They even forgot to put the 6v6 competitive mode in the patch notes. No mention that I see. lol
