I think it’s probably Sombra. Even in GM, her pick rate is <1% and even has a negative winrate; she’s not even niche. And I feel like the buff didn’t do a whole lot either.
If it’s not her, then maybe D.Va considering how hard she feeds and how clunky DM feels to use. Also has close to a negative winrate.
I agree with Dva, there is no reason why matrix should have a cool down between uses as it’s got such a short timer. She is a tank that doesn’t have any abilities to be a tank.
With a forced 222 she takes up a tank slot for a hero that is actually a tank.
The thing is, she’s a Dive tank, and it seems to me people forget this a lot, and i see D.vas trying to front line like a main tank… is her DM perhaps tuned the way it is to support Dive?
I don’t even play Dva but you know something isn’t right when even I feel sorry for Dva players. Remove the matrix cool down would go some way to make her better and more skillful to use. Players would still have to manage its use, like moira heals.
Personally I find a difference in a hero being trash because of being unfavored by the meta (like Zen or Widow), and heroes being just straight up useless usually because of nerfs (like Sombra or Sym or Torb).
But yeah, 76 nevertheless is in a pretty rough spot.
I think d.va is pretty good. She has a constant damage on those barriers… like tanks have to be constantly out of her sight of they don’t want her mech ripping their shields away.
Her matrix is not for every bullet that comes her way it’s meant to be used for traps, grenades, fire strikes and eating ults…
She can also stay alive for a good amount of time as long as she has a good healer to her side
