Hello everyone !
This is my first contribution to this part of the forum and, as a consequence, the first gamemode I publish. Here’s the Attack on Titan inspired gamemode by Jyow.
It was inspired by one of the first modes i experienced back on Workhsop’s PTR phase. I admit I quite stole the concept to someone who was experimenting with the workshop on the PTR in april but, as he wasn’t going far with it, I decided to rework it on my own (and get my first knowledge of the workshop too) to improve it (especially since I didn’t see anyone trying to do such a thing).
Anyway, here’s the code of the latest version : 8CA27 (Version 1.41. Can still be improved).

Are you the food ? No, you are the Hunters !
Humans fight the titans to survive. By pressing your interaction button, you can switch between the light 3D-gear mode and the heavy sword-style mode to deal with those giants. Switch the mode and find your strategy to stay alive. Doing an air-strike with the sword deals more damage.
Titans all have their unique gameplay.
- Roadhog (Colossal Titan) can move faster by holding “interact”. He cannot use his heal unless he makes a kill. The heal refreshes after each kill he makes.
- Reinhardt (Armored Titan) can charge really fast, has an improved resistance to hit and a larger range of attack with his hammer.
- Orisa (Female Titan) has a better general move speed but she slows herself when using her resistance ability. She can use her orb to gather her ennemies.
I’ve also added some secret features allowing good players to turn into the beast titan or the human titan depending on their actions. Will you find how to make it ?

I up this thread because i’ve done many changes this week since the first test and fixed so many bugs. The code is still up but had to make a sort of patch note.

Added HP conservation like in “twin hero” mode. When you switch your mode as humans, you keep the same ammount of hp (was necessary because titans used to one shot to avoid constant regeneration switch exploit).

Added a cooldown to the switch to avoid multiple exploits if the button was spammed. The switch is also more fluid so titans won’t see humans invisible any more.

Reworked every titans damage (they don’t one shot humans) to stick to the hp conservation.
I’ve recorded the first public test games to make a trailer. Will soon be on youtube. Thanks for the help if you gave some. Big credit to Xscore and Dynamo for their help in the bug fixes.Enjoy the mode and don’t hesistate to suggest me features.
Not like other attack on titan gamemodes. This one is more technical and role play. Using the force character to switch between 3DGear mode and Sword mode was a pretty good choice. But don’t forget to use your interact keybind, the one used to tp with symmetra’s tp to switch. It’s really fluid and pretty cool.
Titans are awesome too. But they need to be played in team for maximum efficiency.

I up this thread, considering i didn’t update the mode for months and because I had to write a small patchnote to actualize it.
- Biggest change : there can only be one version of each titan per round. This was asked many times during the games i made in late summer and was indeed a big deal (for example, one roadhog is a big threat, 2 or 3 is just unkillable).

Nerfed roadhog self-heal : The heal is weaker, it prevents him from moving and he only gets it after a kill. Roadhog was the biggest threat i had created for this mode to mimicry the Colossal Titan in the manga. But his power was too high, making him really unbalanced at times. He’s now harder to play and the Humans will have more opportunity to kill him. I’ll keep an eye on him if he is now too weak after those changes. Don’t hésitate to keep me informed.
- Humans must pick random heroes before the game starts. They will be automatically switched to Widowmaker once they spawn. I’ve spent hours looking for an alternative but it seems to be the ONLY way to limit a team on 1 hero per round and allowing the other one to stack heroes. The mode will remain in this state until the developpers add a rule allowing to specify a stacking hero way for different teams.
That’s it for this 1.4 patch note. We’re getting closer and closer of the true Attack on Titan experience on Overwatch i was dreaming about. Do not hesitate to comment on how i can still improved this gamemode and, most important of all, have fun 
I have recently discovered this amazing game mode and have been playing it loads, today I was playing as the Titan in a 1v3 and after a few rounds I got to play as Winston (who I can presume to be the beast titan). I have no idea what I did to get this and I also saw u added the attack Titan too could u please tell me what I have to do to get these plz

I’m glad to see you enjoyed the mode. If you mind sharing it to friends, i would feel very thankful and rewarded ^^
To unlock the Beast Titan Winston, you must check a kill with each titan in a single game. That means you must do a kill with all of the 3 classic titans and doing at least 3 rounds.
The attack titan can be unlocked if a recon squad manage to eliminate 2 titans. He will then turn into the attack titan Doomfist.
I intended to keep these as secret features but since you played and enjoyed it, why not help you ?

I’m not sure if u have seen but in the ptr you can now change the size of the player model, this could be very beneficial for the game mode and perhaps you could incorporate it, but Ik it will probably take time to balance it. I can’t wait to see what you do with the new changes! Can you please send me an updated code if u do decide to do this
