Workshop Access Problems

I dont know if this is the right place to post this, but I also dont now anywhere else to post this, so here it is:

When my friend tries to join my Custom Game with Workshop, they and I get the error code “Player does not have access to workshop”. Why does this happen? They really want to play workshop both alone and with me. We play on Xbox.

Check to make sure your game lobby for your custom game is set to friends only and that both you and your friend are connected as friends on Xbox Live. Also check your Xbox profiles to make sure there are no parental control measures in place that prevent access to user created content.
