Imagine putting yourself through a really hard fought game and you don’t get the results you wanted and them some loser on the enemy team types “ez clappers” or simply “ez clap”.
That has been happening to literally half of my games and I am really hoping that they get their computers literally lit up in a fire.
Some say it because it gets a rise out of you, others say it jokingly to add in some fun banter. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with banter in the chat or game as long as it’s not excessive. If I get into a 1v1 with someone on the enemy team and I dunk on them you sure as hell bet I’m going to teabag them or type EZ in all chat. Not being toxic, just having fun. And I expect to get teabagged right back even harder in the next 1v1 when they dunk on me instead. That’s when the banter really gets going.
It’s like why say “ez” after winning a game? You won, congrats. Why be a jerk about it? What issues do you have that you can’t even be gracious in winning, and have to completely devalue your opponent’s efforts?
I wish we could down-rate people who display such blatantly bad sportsmanship.
given OP’s track record with things that angers him (a lot of angry threads lol)… he should just turn off all in game chat tbh… maybe find something that sparks joy… or consider meditation/therapy.
Tbh I don’t get why ppl get offended by “gg ez”
And we also have ppl who get offended by “gg”
Good game
How can u get offended by someone saying it was a good game
I rly don’t understand ppl
Probably because most of the time it wasn’t anywhere close to a good game, heh.
Reminds me of one person I played a few games against the other day. When they were winning, they were all chatty and happy, including saying “It’s fun if you win or lose!” but the moment they lost? Silence. Complete. Dead. Silence.
I mean, that’s fine. At that point it really does mean “You played”, but it’s fine. I’ve definitely played with tons of people who say “gg” when they win, but when they lose they say nothing. So you’re in the vast minority. At least when put in a group with the people I play with regularly.
ive read so many of your threads i have found out it is easier to wonder what does not make you over salted instead of what does. as the what does is such a long list its just not funny…
