It really isn’t. I only rank up if I win a lot. It doesn’t care about my stats at all.
I won 5 and lost 0, carried every game, ranked once from gold 2 to gold 1
I went 5-0 and ranked once lol so sad
The 5 game rank update means 90% of the time you’ll only go up 2 placements and rarely 3 depending on where you were before

lol yeah. I wonder how it is determined how much you rank up. I heard it no longer ranks based on performance but on wins instead. I’ve also heard that it will give you less gains for some wins than others because you were “supposed to win” because it’s meant to be an easier match for you.
yeah still doesn‘t make sense, wanna hear something? I litterally won 5 games in a row too, was best healer in 4 out of 5 of them as bap with one game litterally being 22k heals and the las game out healing the ana bylike 8k heals and i went from plat5 to plat4 it doesn‘t make any sense
