Exciting stuff!

Firstly:

I’m very interested to see how well 6v6 does!

Will it be more popular than 5v5?!

In my personal view OW2 ought to remain 5v5 - this was after all in part a differentiation feature to set it apart from OW1 - let OW2 be its own thing but also why not re-release OW1/Classic as a separate game client for players who miss features like 6v6 among many other features?!

After all if recent times have shown nothing else haven’t they proven that more choice is a good thing and that players generally respond well when given the option to play their preferred game mode/game? A great example of this was back in 2020 when competitive players were once again given the option to play competitive open queue!

More recently we saw a competitor be hugely successful putting their own spin on the hero shooter - given that the demand exists and evidently there is space within the genre for both a fresh, exciting and totally different experience as well as a familiar one surely Blizzard themselves could capitalize on this? Have two separate games - OW1, OW2 - and have each cater to these different audiences!

Secondly:

I’ve always wondered what it would be like if there was a battlefield-esque game mode with a much grander scale?!

E.g. 42 vs 42 with one hero limit so that every single hero in the roster would be in play simultaneously!

Wouldn’t that be amazing?!

It probably wouldn’t work with the current Overwatch engine but maybe it could be some kind of future spin off game within the same universe?!

Thirdly:

Please could you consider the following features for Overwatch?

  • Ability to right click a profile in the top 500 leaderboard to view the profile
  • Ability to watch other players replays from their profile
  • Privacy options to then allow players to set their replay visibility to public, friends only or disabled - public would be the default

This feature-set would be so useful and educational as we could then observe how the game is played by the very best players!

Lastly:

Thank you for all the amazing Reinhardt skins as of late!

Please consider bringing back the Lich King Reinhardt skin for winter - it really fits the winter theme and it’s unfortunately a skin that I missed out on in the small window it was available!

It would also be brilliant if the “Frostmourne” sword weapon skin was made available for purchase separately and could be equipped with any Reinhardt skin! I love the sound effect it makes when you swing it - so satisfying!

:heartpulse:

I missed Echo’s doll skin, and now I regret it.
However, this recolor just doesn’t get it.
It’s flashy and trashy in bright green and red.
I’m saving my coins for the old one instead.

Of course it will, lol. It has before.

you are getting it just for playing, like the Cass and Widow skin

but starting December 19, we’re giving you the chance to earn THREE!

Three new challenges will appear, which will reward three legendary skins that will make their premiere. When you complete just three fun and festive games, the Merry Marionette Echo Legendary Skin shall be gained. Playing a total of six games won’t leave you frosty, because Cassidy’s new Legendary Skin and Highlight Intro will be nice and cozy. Finally, playing nine games will be just as sleek, with Widowmaker’s Legendary Skin and Highlight Intro that is totally winter chic. And don’t forget! Wins count as double. So, it really shouldn’t be too much trouble.

Premium Bundles for Your Holiday Wishlist

Finally, like a hot baked cookie fresh from the oven, a new premium skin is still available for the Mercy Main coven. When you add the Happy Holly Mercy bundle from the shop today, you’ll be all the talk at your next holiday party. Other Winter Wonderland favorites will also be for sale, so even your favorite heroes can be merry this winter’s veil.

All skin listed are free to earn while the Mercy skin are paid skin (and they proudly advertised it)

Rose Majesty Mercy skin being in Ultimate BP bundle and now this recolor. They knew too well that Mercy mains have no self control and easily exploited.

Oh, just what I needed! Cheap holiday swag!
Unrewarding rewards are always such a drag.
I’d rather the old skin was gifted to me.
But guess that I shouldn’t complain if it’s free.

That Widow skin is actually good, especially since we can earn it for free.

Please don’t lump us all in together. I haven’t used real money to buy any skins ever :sob:

I’m just sad that people buying her skins means that there will never be free ones that i could get.

Great rewards again this year - and curious to see how 6v6 goes with the Overwatch 2 heroes.

Can’t wait to read the whining from certain people when they get hit with new combo possibilities from two tanks. :upside_down_face:
