Dva got a nerf to DM but she’s still dominating the game.
Winston got dealt with instantly and Dva is just out here doing whatever she wants.
She needs more nerfs boys.

The reason they’re probably hesitant to nerf her is because bronze noobs can’t do well with her. It’s 100% like the time they refused to actually nerf Sojourn for 2 years despite her being so blatantly disgusting and overpowered, just because metal ranks couldn’t do well with her and game balance is the same across every rank

At this point I’m convinced Dva is just popular with the balance team or something.
While I agree with your assessment, I imagine Winston would be more elite skewed though no?

Winston was dealt with “instantly”? The monkey has easily been the most consistent tank in the OW2 meta. He’ll be just fine after this small nerf. He’s still good at what he does best: Blocking lines of sight and disrupting enemy rotations.
Dva is OP right now, but we’d be hypocrites to act as if the Winston nerf was unfair or showing some sort of favoritism.

Look at the state of tanks as a whole, in general. They’re all stupidly overpowered. You expect the balance team to know who needs nerfs or how? The fact that tanks haven’t been reverted to pre-season 9 just screams that nobody is even playing the game over there.

Honestly I barely even play the game anymore with how unfun and annoying it’s become so I don’t blame them but it is hilarious if that is the case since they’re directly to blame for it.
Sadly fortnites current season also feels like that to me so atm I have no game to play since I’d usually play one or the other.
But seriously, you do have a very valid point. From my personal experience i have seen way too many bad Dvas, more so than any other Tank mains.
Maybe the devs are actually balancing Dva around those players.
If it weren’t for Juno I probably would be hardly playing at all. But she’s just too fun for me to stay away, even with how terrible the balance is. I started one-tricking her in ranked, I went 9-1 in placements and placed plat 1, and shot up to diamond 2 from there. Something about her just clicks with me and I climb. I’m actually wondering how far I can take this. She’s literally saved the game for me, for the time being.
I didn’t imagine anything. I never stated in my post that you said anything specifically. I said that we cannot “act” like the nerf was unfair or showing favoritism.
Your original post is comparing Winston’s nerf to Dva’s lack of changes. It’s not a big leap to gather that you feel the nerf was unfair.
Before this small nerf, the last nerf that Winston got was back in Feburary.
Feburary 2023, that is.

Irony is she was destroying metal ranks too while they were trying to keep her noob friendly.
It’s ok, though, they made more noob friendly changes constantly to the detriment of more experienced players. 
It was a quick nerf from patch to patch when he got strong because of hp being lowered on many heroes.
It definitely was not. Don’t act like Winston has gotten a bunch of nerfs, he hasn’t.
Also saying he was “dealt with” implies you think they heavy handed nerfed him out of the meta or something, which of course they did not at all lol

Winston was out performing D.Va. That’s why he got the nerf. IMO they want to make a more global change, possibly a change to armor, that will affect both of them in the mid-season patch. This is my guess.
D.Va is strong but it’s crazy that people don’t seem to understand that there’s a LOT of other tanks just as strong right now. If we weren’t in a dive meta, you would see a different tank and the meta right now isn’t tank driven it’s tank responsive.
We’ll see, but I hope for a global tank nerf. My personal preference would be to change the DPS passive to 15% for tanks and go to 40% armor for tanks.
