My source is going to be a “trust me bro” type source but off the top of my head I’ve won about 20 from 25 games. I’ll edit this with the imgur link when I’m back on my PC. I have been switching tanks a lot so it’s not 100% of my playtime on him, there’s some Dva, Doom and Queen in the mix too
Granted it’s only in Diamond for the moment, just finished off placements and progress is slow and it’s still calibrating my real rank
But the armour changes and every global change considered, there’s like no heroes you have to be concerned about anymore. Reaper and Dva deal pitiful damage against half his health, Hog is a non issue because getting hooked at full health means he can only do about 1-2 half damage shots before you leap out (though Whole Hog is still nuts), Bastion’s armour being ignored removes a fair bit of tackiness against Winston and you can just wait out form. Play with a Genji or Tracer and Bastion is perma-respawning. Cassidy is so diveable it’s actually hilarious. Winston and Dva have the best tools to deny flashbang, and bubble dancing combined with all his recent nerfs means he’s in a losing battle with Winston quite a lot. Brig is so free to dive every single time ever since the tesla cannon ignoring armour change. Mauga might be the only hero that actually made me consistently swap to Dva he’s kind of the exception but yeah.
I think he is probably the best tank in the game, I’m strictly queuing tank at the moment trying to hit a new peak on it (kind of masochistic) but I’ve found that there’s never really a situation where I’ll actually have to swap off of him. Idk if he needs a nerf but reverting the tesla cannon ignoring armour could be a start since he’s benefited a LOT from other changes
