Would it be too much to ask for Winston to have 200 armor 300 health?
I feel like the big guy could use a little help given the popularity and utility of the other tanks, especially because D’va is currently circling the drain, and she complements him best.
Throw it on the experimental card and see what happens.
I think winstons would be in an okay place if sigma and orisa get nerfed/changes
Yeah I think Winston and DVA are struggling because other tanks are overtuned.
You can definitely buff them to solve the problem but I’d rather see other tanks brought down.
Yeah winston is actually rly good against rein brawl comps, but double shield can roll any dive
He just needs a second removed from his jump pack cool down, I used to play Winston then ball came out and there is literally no reason to play him over Ball . He is just too vulnerable if caught out alone . What I mean is you HAVE to play him with a DVA or Zarya if he engages alone you will get annihilated
This could work too, but it doesn’t give him anymore sustainability.
This is the reason the armor change may make a difference. It would make him a little more sustainable, but not too sustainable because you should be punished if you jump in alone.

Agreed but what I mean is , unless you have a dva or zayra you kind of have to jump in alone to initiate the push this usually results in a instant murder as his shield is so pitiful.
Unless you have say a Rein who actually initiates correctly however at plat most Reins just stand static waiting for their shield to break. But then you can hunt enemy dps etc but even then Hammond just does this 10 times better than Winston probably why they gave Ball machine guns rather than flame throwers as with a weapon like that he would be unbeatable
Nerfing these two problematic hero seems like a fine idea, idk why youre opposed to it.
I dont think any tank at the moment need a nerf, infact I feel they all need a buff in different ways . Just feels horrible to play knowing you will just be constantly Cc’d into next week

Before you check the profile - I haven’t played comp on this account since like season 20. Even then, i believe Winston, Dva, Rein, Zarya, and Hog are all in my top 7 for most played heroes all time on this account.
Sigma and Orisa are already trash unless they’re played together. Sigma OR Orisa + hog/zarya/dva/etc is not a strong team comp compared to Rein/Zarya, Winston/Ball, or Orisa/Sigma. Honestly they need to BUFF Orisa and Sigma but limit each team to 1 barrier.
They have been repeatedly nerfed to the point that they barely function without the other. Those two don’t need to be nerfed again just so people play Winston.
