when you get your 5 wins its a rank adjustment, not a rank up or rank down. its an adjustment.
so now you only need to be better than the remaining 5% to get out of your current rank!

For a guaranteed rank up you need 5-0 minimum. 5-2 is 3
So you basically won 3 games
i still find it amazing that people dont realise that the old sr system is probably still present and you just cant see it.
5 and 2 is just 72sr.

I understand this, but it’s not clear at all. Our rank presentation is terrible. It should just tell us our SR and how much we win or lose per match. Why not?

Because it would expose more of the fraudulent scam.

I’m not convinced it’s a scam. I think it’s a design that didn’t work as intended.
ya its definitely rigged when you spend the entire match typing, and congratulating the enemy team on the free win before the match even starts.
Or even worse if the old system is in place, you could still lose SR.
In OW1 percent chance to win was part of the SR gain/loss. I’ve had sessions going 50% was a net SR loss over 10 games.

I used to win 21 maybe 22 and lose 24 in gm.
In OW1 Games has an SR value. Some wins only gave you 4-6 SR. Some losses used to be 25 SR. You could go 50% winrate and still derank.
It also went the other way. You could climb with negative winrates.
The sbsr was removed above diamond though.
Its also not relevant.
The issue now is that you cant see. The system is most likely the exact same but we don’t know. The lack of transparency leads to half the conspiracy theorist popping up on here with little to proof of anything
It just leads to confusion.
