dont know if it ends today or tomorrow but it was fun. memories were more than 3 winstons diving me as widow. 6 man smurf widow teams destroying us, me being on a all widow team and stomping the enemy team. 6 roadhogs that i dispatched easily as widow… (crazy huh). more than 3 symmetras… yea no hero limits is wild
even tho widowmaker is godly i think the most fun was when i was symm and the game worked out in my favor. she is weak as hell but if it worked it felt better than headshotting people
had one game on defense where it was 4 syms and 2 torbs. builder defense and it was so fun seeing tons of laser and machine gun turrets. the enemy got first point at last second but didnt make it far after that

I will miss chain rezzing with another Mercy, but otherwise no.
I’m looking forward to the next set of Classic games with hero limits!
It’s fun for a few matches for the memes, but isn’t conducive to long term play.

i think i will i dont think i will want it as a main mode though but certainly in arcade.
what we can take from this is the essence of game play were even extremes worked well for most part and the kinda fun chaos and constant action it provided and find ways to imbibe it in the main live game whatever mode it is or going to be.
Nope. And with it gone I will certainly be playing classic more now. In the first like 6 months if ow1 they made so many great changes to balance, and this is certainly one of them.

Only issue is the low number of supports so now it will be hard to get more than one support. Compared to before you could at least get 2 mercy players. The upside with only one Widow, Zen will be more viable lol. I really wonder how classic would have been with role lock (in an alternate world where role queue/lock was always a thing).

Funny enough the 6/5 of X heroes comps were never particularly hard to counter once when you realize what you are up against. It actually makes it more obvious what you have to pick to counter it.
I agree that they’re easy to counter. Which is why I never want to have to be alongside one.
I think I might miss it to some extent. If someone’s on a character and not really getting value out of it, with no limits another guy can simply dupe the character and pick up the slack. Plus double Zarya is fun, as it turns out. On the other hand, it’ll force me to play more characters on occasion instead of just going Zarya with a side order of Lucio.

I was thinking about multiple Meis when I responded… Meis with Zaryas pocketing them with bubbles obsessively. I think Mei was the sleeper pick to double up on. If I got more than a couple games like that maybe I would have understood the haters more.

God no because its not eliminated from the game. You have Customs and Arcade or MH so “meh”. It definitely should have not been allowed on Competitive. Like ever.
I was done after day 2, I’m already done looking at this time capsule. Bring on the next one.

Hero limits were added very early on for a good reason.

Same as current then. You barely even get more than one support as it is because supports just kinda suck. If you get multiple mercy players, well, we’ve seen how that goes already I guess
