I would of thought that the levels would carry over. People have spent so much time on OW1. I think that they should carry over and they should add more on the end. Opinions??

i’d add something depending on your ow1 level to reward you for playing but levels are kinda dated

I think they are because they are integrating own pvp to ow2 pvp so I don’t think your levels will just disappear.
from what ive heard your data from overwatch will transfer over to overwatch 2 including skin unlocks

It seems like they will be removing lvl borders will have a different way to showcase the lvls of OW1 players. Which probably means lvl reset or at least having the lvl hidden.
Only the skins have been confirmed to carry over.

According to the former Game Director Jeff Kaplan they have plans to get rid of the borders and replace it with a different system but they will try to find a way to recognize those accomplishments which for me I am a diamond border on my Xbox account so hopefully it better be something good. I believe the other reason they are getting rid of it is due to players at higher levels like myself being easily targeted for toxicity.

Borders are whatever, but I still want my level dammit, it’s all I play the game for anymore (cause you know I’m not bothering with comp).
