Will Next Support be 18-21 Y.O. Cutie too?

I feel like people aren’t talking about this enough. Last 4 Supports that we got, or all OW2 Supports are Kiriko, Illari, Juno and Lifeweaver. We can all agree that all female Supports out of the 4 follow the same pattern of being young and cute and there is very little variety. Kiriko is 21(even if it makes zero sense), Juno is 19 and Illari is 18 years old. While Lifeweaver is 31 years old and male, we can all agree that he is also following the same pattern the other 3 heroes do. Young, beautiful, cutesy, slim figure, anime-like voice (Illari is an exception here)…

My question is, when will this stop?? When can we expect a bit of variety when it comes to Support role? Why is Moira still the ONLY “villain” or morally grey Support hero in the game? When will heroes like Kiriko and Juno stop being pushed, forced and favored?? Can they stop releasing skin after skin and other content every season for this type of heroes while ignoring others? We need to leave both Kiriko and Juno in 2024.

Never. The trend must continue. I want more cool and cute female supports.

This is just a skill issue on your part.

We should get a cute and plump panda as the next support. I’ll settle for a koala.

Bro, what? I always thought that she was like 23-25. Cause also she hasn’t any cute things or interactions, or something like this. Her character is like adult’s one, so strict

Funny how the actual most popular hero in the game is a 60yr old woman

It’ll stop when someone at the company has the balls to stand up and release Mama Hong.

That’s what I keep saying. Lifeweaver is at least different from Kiriko, Illari and Juno for being a man. But it can’t be that hard to create another older and maturer woman like Ana or a villain like Moira. Hell, even another manly support like Baptiste would be valid at this point.
Edit: Mercy mythic skin is proof that they’re more than capable of creating more villain supports.

This is what happens when you have a completely busted ability on a short cd that no other support can compete against.

Never if blizzard is smart.
The game had the highest player gain in a month with the release of Juno since OW2’s release.

I agree actually. When will get another young beautiful cutesy muscular support like brig. There’s lifeweaver but he’s more like a Greek statue than someone I would really call cute, though he is kinda cute

…girl? Yes I completely agree for no reason in particular and with no comparison of a animalistic girl from a rival(s) game in mind

If Blizzard were to be any smart, they would start making more types of supports than just young girls to be able to stand against Marvel Rivals. Marvel Rivals’ next strategist(support) is going to be an evil robot and after that a mature woman. (Yes I would consider Invisible Woman to be maturer than a young girl)

Extremely likely because it’s now their business model as you said

Bluzzards following the trends. They know what their audience likes.

But imagine a Venture-like support. Thatd be fun

I’m sure the people would be upset but I would dig it (pun not intended)

YEAH give us an old-man-mage support, like ramattra! >:]

Thats a strange thing to say. The only male supports we have are Lucio, Baptiste and Lifeweaver, no? VS Brig, Moira, Mercy, Illari, Kiriko, Juno, Ana… In fact, anything BUT a male hero would be statistically unwarranted

Lovely how you didn’t mention Zenyatta. But that’s okay. He’s not even a real support.

OH YEAH, i forgot that critter. But that doesnt really change much, we have 4 male supports and the rest is female and fanservive in big parts and i need to see some variety asap

Non-binary support would definitely be something. We do have Lynx 17 for that.
