Will I still be able to merge accounts after October 4?

Or is this time limited to between now and the release off OW2?

The ability to account merge will only apply for current Overwatch accounts and new accounts starting in Overwatch 2, won’t be able to merge.

If I was reading it right, kinda guessing.

But it seems like accounts created before October 4th can be merged, but accounts created after October 4th cannot be merged.

To me, this bit from the blog reads as if you’ll be able to merge an eligible console account whenever you want, as long as it was created before the deadline

If you don’t confirm your account merge in-game, you will continue to be served an in-game screen that identifies your accounts and prompts approval to merge. You can check to see which accounts are linked to your battle.net account here:

but if I have the accounts linked but I can’t play the game before October 4 to confirm the merger, I can do it in ow2?
