Will I ever get out of bronze?

It seems as though it’s going to be impossible. I used to be 20sr away from plat and I would win in gold constantly. But now that placements put me in bronze (won 10) I don’t think I can 1v6. Nobody here wants to win

Cry more.

You’re not 1v6 anything, you’re simply not as good as you think you are.

Learn to complain less and get better at the game and naturally you will climb.

I can sit in Bronze, one handed and still run circles around people in that league, if anything it’s impossible to NOT climb out if you use your brain.

I’m not going to give you any real advice, because honestly I don’t think you’re ready for it.

You were in high gold and placements for this season suddenly put you in bronze?
How is that even possible?

Also if you were really high gold you will have no problems getting out of bronze.

I’m only plat and it wouldn’t be possible for me to stay in bronze. Even in silver, if I’m not hard throwing (i.e. racking up 30 deaths/10 mins) I climb. You’ll get out when you’re better at the game.

I’ve spent time in bronze on another account. Everyone there is unbelievably bad and I climbed 500 Sr to get out in a couple hours. If you were truly a high gold player at one point you should be destroying bronze players. It doesn’t matter how bad your teammates are, the enemy makes so many punishable mistakes that you can easily abuse and hard carry games.

You’ll get out of bronze when you start playing better. Bronze people play the game super sloppy, on both your team and the enemy team. Try to capitalize on it when your enemies make mistakes, instead of dwelling on the mistakes your team makes

literally every game i’ve played this season has been 6 enemy players rush in coordinated, wipe the 5 others and I can’t do anything. There’s literally no counterplay for bad teams every game.

Im sure it aint like that Kitty. You’re just tilted. How in the world is it that LITERALLY every game you’re vsing 6 coordinated bronzes up against 5 uncoordinated bronze + you? See where the logic fails?

Now, if you’re in bronze, there’s something fundamentally wrong with your gameplay. No shame in that, but if you want to get out, I can help you find out whats fundamentally wrong. If you want me to do a VoD review, i’m down :slight_smile:

If you’re really a better player, then explain that to your team, use voice chat and start calling shots. People will listen if you sound like you know what you’re doing.

Don’t listen to these trolls, you’ll get out, it just takes longer than most people think it does.

Mind you I’m in bronze and I love it. Along with Silver, I think its the best rank. As you get up in rank, frankly, the game gets a lot more boring, and I’ve been high gold at one point, where the people actually start having a lot worse personalities too (general statement, there are a few good people, just not as many…)

I could give you advice, but why would you listen to anyone here at all on the forums? Even a GM ranked player? When you can go out there and watch actually good videos from pro-streamers, and even watch some pro-games. Even if some of what they do, doesn’t apply, for all their faults it’s way better than getting advice from salty forumites who think they are all great at the game.

Don’t listen to anyone on this forum. Go watch youtube and twitch, you’ll do a lot better getting advice there.

Focus on your mistakes and mechanical skills because I sometimes play on my GF account on her PC at her place and shes bronze. I can wipe the floor with them and i’m high gold. If you belong higher you will carry the game.

It wasn’t personal to you, there are a few good people around, but frankly, most people here think they are as good as OWL or pro-streamers. At least in bronze nobody thinks they are secret esport heroes.

All I’m saying is good on you if you have a channel, the information is out there and people are better off looking at popular youtube channels, twitch streamers and pros than coming here. I mean, give you the benefit of the doubt, people still have to pick out your comment through the fields of ‘git gud’ with no further advice on the forum :stuck_out_tongue:

As someone who was in gold for a couple seasons when I first started, and who is in bronze / silver right now, it’s not as easy to climb as you might think. It is going to take a lot of time, and you need to play when you are in good mental state.

If you were masters or something before then sure, it would be a walk in the park, but the difference between the lower ranks are not significant enough to matter that much.

Bronze can be frustrating because most matches have those players who are dumb as a bug in a rug tbh (or drunk, high, whatever), and it will cost you. I dropped 400 SR last weekend, and have gained about 200 back. The game will fluctuate wildly depending on what time youplay and how you feel.

Responses like this are just brainless and wrong. You can’t lose a game in bronze unless you die 30 times per 10 minutes? Then what about people who go 40-5 and still lose?

A lot of these comments are just condescending garbage. The problem at Bronze is that only about 40%+ of the matches are quality without leavers or throwers or people on training wheels so even if you win all of those you still might lose more than your share because you cannot 1 v 6 - even if some of the keyboard warriors in here say so.

You can still climb but it’s going to take a while and you WILL have to play well - especially if solo queuing. You might have more luck if you can team up with people or role queue.

These guys in here (and we can safely assume guys) pretending like you pick Torb and fall asleep for half the match and win if you’re gud are running a load of manure and they know it so don’t buy it. Out of the many MILLIONS of people playing this game only a fraction of that play competitive mode and out of that group of people only 39% of those are above Gold. Keep that in mind.

yes if you read some basics of the game it should at least get you to silver

bronze players tend to not understand the game to a basic level, some just have horrible mechanics that keeps them there others are just young/old while some don’t care at all
