Will Blizzard actually respond to this backlash?

Considering the extreme amount of critisism the beam nerfs have been receiving in the last few hours, you’d think Blizzard would respond to this critisism and feedback. But they’re known to be ridiculously silent while the PTR is live, so I expect these to go live.

R.I.P Symmetra and Zarya.

Long live Hanzo and Widowmaker (Apparently)

Most likely not.
They will probably wait for it all to cool down a bit.

Also, they seem to be a bit quiet lately. Even Overwatch’s Twitter is inactive. They don’t even promote the new merchandise like the new statue.

no

They dropped this on a Thursday afternoon, essentially the Friday evening equivalent of primetime TV and the news cycle lede burrowing i.e. they are hoping this just goes away over the weekend and no one cares next Monday morning.

This time last year we got a new map and animated short.

But all we got this time was beam nerfs. :sob:
