With no Sombras to stop them! They are having the time of their lives!
Nothing is stopping my DPS from going Sombra if they do not enjoy bullets in their skulls. The problem is that I believe they are into it, bruh.

Sombra we nerfed into oblivion. That kinda stops DPS from going Sombra. If you have not notice there are almost NO Sombras being played anymore.
illari pylon, dva and brig all make widow basically unkillable as sombra

Did i miss something? There was nothing for her in mid season and only change in patch before that was reducing virus dmg over time by 15 which didnt change breakpoint vs widow?? Im still seeing her in most games that have a widow and plenty without. They mentioned a potential rework to her perma-invis but i haven’t heard an ETA for it

She is still near enough exactly the same. She still needs more nerfs and fast because she is making this season trash

How is she still the same? Her Dot was reduced. So unless you can hack → Virus → hit all your shots, before Widow runs away, widows still lives.
…. No loooool. You can kill widow in like 1 second and barely even need to land a shot. Reminder that Sombra’s virus still does more damage than it did last season even with the recent dot nerf …. Lol. She is still buffed compared to last season when she was already good at killing widow
It used to do 25 impact & 90 Dot
To a hacked target that is 140 dmg
Now it does 35 impact and 75 Dot
To a hacked target that is 145 dmg
…
Widow only has 200 hp. So you deal ~3/4 of her hp without even needing to land a shot. You only need to land 7 bullets out of her 60 ammo clip, 8dmg x 7 bullets = 56 dmg + 145 from virus = 201dmg and you kill the widow. That is without even hitting a headshot
You actually need 1 less bullet NOW than you did BEFORE to kill a widow 
Before you would have had to land 8 bullets for 64 dmg + the 140 from virus to kill her
Thing is picking Sombra against Widow by itself is worthless in masters+
Even if you do pick Sombra you’re not bursting through the pocket healing that a GM widow will get. they’re gonna get triple packed by Brig, lamped by Bap, or they’ll have a pylon on them 24/7
you need a dive tank at all times, and if your tank doesn’t play a dive tank it’s gg

That sounds like an aim issue. Virus is 35 on impact and 70 over time so 105 to start with. Sombra avg primary within 15m is 160/s so if you land virus you can still one clip a widow without hack. If anything sombra is now str9nger since they reduced hp on a lot of higher mobility heroes.
140dmg realistically cus sombras are never just decloaking into a raw virus on a widow. You usually always hack the widow so she can’t grapple away which decloaks you anyway, then you land virus which then does 140 guaranteed damage
Honestly thats exactly what i do vs widow lol. Dont need hhack to 1 clip her so i just delete her then hack anyone who tries to peel.
So im hearing that theres a whole bunch of reasons widow is a problem, that aren’t widow.
No there are also a whole bunch of problems with Widow that are Widow problems too:
- Falloff range is too far. Only 2 other heroes have that effective range
- New map design favoring sniper heroes. Push, Circuit Royale, Paraiso etc
- Less shields in the game to block her shots
- No dedicated off tank to mark her. Loss of a tank slot was the biggest buff she ever got
- Loss of overhealth and armor generation to throw off her breakpoints
- She doesn’t need 200hp with that effective range.
- Best mobility tool on the most oppressive hitscan. If you dive her, she shouldn’t have a free escape to high ground or another position, that’s where the pocket healing comes in but that’s not Widow related
Exactly lol. The problem with widow has never been the character itself. Snipers are designed to one shot in most games. Its that nobody likes being forced into the role of doing nothing but keeping 1 person out of the fight all game. She has plenty of counters on every role not just sombra. Same reason tanks are miserable playing counterwatch all game but vs widow other roles have to deal with it also. Its been worse this season because with dva hard meta a lot of times you tank gets forced to swap zarya which would leave it to dps or support to swap and counter widow. In a lot of cases they refuse and blame tank when widow has free reign lol.
A bunch of Widows having a field day.
Running around all sweaty in athletic gear.
Falling over each other and getting all dirty in their 3-legged races.
Sitting on balloons and popping them.
Who could possibly be into that?

Thats just it … You need to LAND the bullets. For the people that can do the skill shot. There are better heroes. For people that cannot they are not playing Sombra anymore.
