What if her ult allowed her team and her to see their enemies ult charge numbers and status along with the current affects. Would this better her ult or Would this be too powerful?
Of course it won’t do any damage as it only reveals position and ult status for a temporary point in time.
This will not apply to widow’s poison trap however.
What do you think of this idea? Lets discuss.

Fairly certain team-wide wallhacks are pretty good as it is. It’s incredible zoning for free.

Yeah. Though I feel widow having this in her ult would be nice as well.
She already has one of the best ults in the entire game. It’s a FULL ZONE FULL TEAM LOCKOUT FOR 15 SECONDS. It needs nerfing, not buffing, it’s absolutely dumb.
i’d say its balanced for the most part, it does what a tactical ultimate like hers should do.
i like it how it is, sure it doesn’t feel nearly as good as a 4K d.va bomb but it gives some pretty dam valueble info, plus some people are idiots and decide to turn around corners when they know i have infra sight.
general rule of thumb for infra sight is to stay were you are for the most part, or at least stay away from tight spaces or turning corners.
Kind of. EMP lets you see which enemies have Ult not necessarily their Ult charge.

Why would u literally buff Wallhack, like u know, an Ultimate which is considered in every other game as cheating?
Widow does not need any buffs whatsoever.
In fact, i always questioned why Widow enables Wallhack for all of her team mates…should have been only for herself.

But better hax then giving her shots through walls. Which Jeff mentioned was a consideration as an Ultimate for her.
Yeah now that would definitely be way too powerful. As someone who loves playing widow even I feel that shooting through walls is too much.
Originally I thought that it would be a decent idea to experiment adding the ability to see the enemies ult to her existing ult affect so team mates can see who has ults.
However through some of the replies I can see why it can be considered a bit much. It was a fun short discussion.
U might get this as a perk on Ow2. Im pretty sure all the scrapped ideas, reworked Ultimates are gonna find again their way into the game.
Widows Ult is currently, a very powerful Ultimate in the higher ranks, or even capable Widows. Even more so if u dont know her location.

I definitely agree. I am pretty hype for Overwatch 2. Still playing Overwatch even now at least an hour or 2 a day. Hopefully after all is said and done it would have been worth the wait.
